Program detail

Road Ready.

A focused one-hour presentation delivered in your school, built for students who are about to drive solo. It takes the same situational awareness and decision-making that underpins our professional training and puts it in language that lands with Year 11 and 12 students.

Not a lecture on road rules. A direct look at how good drivers think, the choices that carry the most risk, and the habits that keep young drivers out of trouble.

What we cover
  • Situational awareness and the four pillars, at student level.
  • Decision-making under pressure, and the cost of getting it wrong.
  • The real consequences of the most common choices behind the wheel.
  • Practical habits to carry into the first months of solo driving.

Drive to Arrive.

The licence proves they can operate a car. It does not prove they can read a road.

If your teenager has just passed, you already know the test was the start. What it measured was compliance on a quiet route in daylight. What it did not measure was a wet roundabout at night, three friends in the back, and a decision that has to be right the first time.

Drive to Arrive puts the instructor in the passenger seat and runs the DRIVE method live, on roads that driver actually uses. Not a script. Each session is shaped around the person in the seat, and it works just as well for an experienced driver who wants to sharpen up.

How it works
  • In the car with the instructor, on roads that matter to the driver.
  • The DRIVE loop run live, with feedback as it happens.
  • Individualised drills, not a fixed script.
  • A clear read on strengths, gaps, and what to practise next.

Light Vehicle Safety.

Vehicle-related incidents remain a leading cause of serious injury and fatality across mining, construction, logistics, and field-based operations. The risk concentrates in two moments: after an incident exposes a capability gap, and when a new site, fleet, or remote operation is standing up.

Light Vehicle Safety is not a fixed package. We scope to your operation, build around your vehicle types and conditions, and deliver where your people drive, then leave you with documentation that supports your compliance and review.

The framework · adapted from police driver training doctrine

The DRIVE method.

A continuous decision loop, run on every journey and every hazard. Methodical, planned, smooth, and systematic. Never reactive. Nothing left to chance.

DDiagnose

Before the wheels turn. Driver state and fitness, the POWER vehicle check, seating and setup, and the journey risk plan.

RRead

Information as a system. Signs, guide posts, limit points, light phases, surface change, and the behaviour of other road users.

IIdentify

Name the threat early. Wildlife, dust, micro climates, heavy vehicle interaction, the first signs of grip loss.

VVehicle

Control with margin. Position, speed for conditions, braking, cornering lines, skid avoidance, the unsealed grip trade-off.

EEvaluate

The loop closes and reopens. Reassess constantly, flex the plan, keep the destination fixed, debrief and report.

E feeds DThe loop never closesEvery hazardEvery journey
06
Situational awareness

Four key elements.

Situational awareness is essential for all road users, but it is particularly important for experienced and professional drivers, including those working in emergency services. Situational awareness involves four key elements.

Pillar 01

Observation

Using all available senses to build an accurate understanding of the driving environment.

Pillar 02

Anticipation

Drawing on experience and observation to recognise potential hazards early.

Pillar 03

Planning

Making timely and appropriate decisions while driving.

Pillar 04

Mindset

Assessing situations accurately and taking safe, appropriate action.

This process involves gathering, interpreting, and applying information about what is happening around you and anticipating what may happen next. By doing so, drivers can make informed decisions and maintain control of their vehicle at all times.

07
The instructor

Trained to the limit. Applied to your roads.
