- Emergency plans, evacuation diagrams and response procedures assessed against AS 3745-2010.
- Emergency Planning Committee and Emergency Control Organisation structure, warden appointment and currency.
- Exercise programmes and records that show the plan works, not just that it exists.

Bump-in and Bump-out
- The highest-risk hours in the calendar, treated as a discipline in their own right.
- Temporary structures, working at height, plant and vehicle movements on the floor, temporary electrical, manual handling.
- Exhibitor and contractor inductions, permit systems, and interface management across multiple trades at once.

Crowd Safety Planning
- Density, capacity, ingress and egress modelled against the actual layout and programme.

Independent Oversight and Pre-Event Audits
- Independent WHS oversight for event organisers, promoters and the venues that host them.
- Pre-event audits against the plan as submitted, with findings closed out before doors open.
- On-site safety supervision for the run of the event where the risk profile calls for it.

- Senior WHS capability on a part-time or retained basis, without a full-time appointment.
